Rio is an American author, cartographer, historian, artist, and athlete, despite being only 12 years old. He loves birds, planes, and boats. He taught himself to draw the world from memory, recite almost every single nation, and also clogs his brain with random history facts. He enjoys sailing on his small sailboat with his dad, hiking, camping, and sleeping. He is CEO of Order of History, and the author of most of the articles.
Melisa is the mother of Rio. She has a degree in animal sciences, copywriting, and bookkeeping. She loves horses, and edits most of Order of History’s articles. She has blog for writing about being the mother of two athletes.
Charlie is a 6 year old dog. He loves sleeping, eating, and hiking. Mainly eating though. He acts as emotionally support for Rio, and enjoys belly rubs.
